About Niek
NIEK (25) travels the world with his (acoustic) indie pop music as a universal connection. His warm, soothing voice and guitar playing create an intimate moment where his music about friendship, love, heartbreak and happiness connects his audience.
Ed Sheeran‘s music introduced and inspired NIEK to write his own music, with now artists like
Harry Styles and James Arthur inspiring him too.
After performances in Sydney, Melbourne, Barcelona and Paris, he will launch a European tour in the Netherlands this summer, starting with a performance at the MadNes surf, skate and music festival. With his debut album “what are you up to?” released in 2022, recent EP “Sleepless Nights” and new music from his in 2024 expected second album, NIEK invites audiences to be part of his musical journey.
