About Niek
NIEK (24) is an indie pop singer-songwriter from Breda (the Netherlands). Playing music is his passion, which you can hear and see while he’s performing. With his warm and soothing voice, he grabs the attention of his audience and aims to connect with people through his music.
“It wasn’t until the age of sixteen when I got into music. First secretly singing along Ed Sheeran in my bedroom, I then started recording myself to improve my singing. After nervously singing at an open mic session at a surf camp in France in 2017, I picked up a guitar to feel more comfortable on stage. Ever since that moment, I never stopped playing guitar and improving my guitar skills. In 2019 I wrote my first song, which eventually lead to my first single “stay with me little longer” to be released in 2020. In august 2022 I released my debut album “what are you up to?” which you can now listen at all music platforms. Performing music is my favorite thing to do.
